Allen Don Hart

Today we attended the funeral for Richard's grandfather, Allen Don Hart. His mother's father. I have only met him once, at our open house in Enumclaw right after we were married. Also, today was the first time I have met some of Richard's uncles and cousins. So, needless to say, I felt a little out of place being involved with the 'family' gatherings during the funeral. But, overall, the funeral was very nice. I really enjoyed listening to stories about his life and learning about his character. And of course, everyone who attended only had nice things to say about him as well. It made me happy to be a part of his family.

I'm glad you were able to meet him at your open house, and then that you live close enough that you could be there at the funeral. It is nice for a family to feel that kind of support when they lose a loved one. Love you, Mom G

Sorry to hear about the loss of Richard's grandfather. He was a very nice, gentle, helpful man on the occasions I was privileged to meet him. I know that Denise loved him very much, and he loved and missed Denise so much. Give my love to Richard and his grandmother.
